ATR’s dedicated team of multi-disciplined Inspectors are available to assist in keeping you LOLER and PUWER compliant, using efficient techniques and systems to minimise downtime and boost productivity on your site, vessel or platform.
Whether it is a one Technician or a three-man Rope-Access team, all certification can be completed on site and made ready for you by COB the same day, if required. All reports are uploaded and stored permanently on our online portal and available to download or view when required, providing easy access for pre-mobilisation load outs, lift planning and audits.
We can complete Wire Rope Spooling, including the provision of all spooling equipment and manpower, as well as Wire Rope Socketing, Cutback and preparation of Destruction Samples. ATR has also the capacity to perform Wire Rope MRT and pressure lubrication on site, extending equipment lifespan and reducing costs.
Our facility situated at Woodside Road, Bridge of Don has the capacity to complete various load tests with our 50t Vertical Test Rig, including CCU’s and DNV witnessed inspections. Should this rig not be sufficient, we have access to an 800t Horizontal Test Bed, in which we perform Load Testing and Wire Rope Destruction. We also have contacts across the UK and overseas for more bespoke testing if required.
In our purpose-made NDT booth, we can conduct an array of Non-Destructive Testing methods on Welded, Machined and Threaded materials, utilising MPI, DPI, Eddy Current, UT and Ultraviolet techniques. We also have the capabilities to remove coatings on site through cleaning or blasting, further reducing your need to outsource these services to other providers.
Our testers are also experienced in completing Riser Bolt inspections amongst many other projects.
On-site testing can be performed also with ATR supplying trained personnel and all forms of load test equipment, such as Water Bags (Low Headroom and Lifeboat Kits available), Test/Clump Weights, Load Links/Shackles, and Craneage.
Our highly competent team can assist you with all ROV, Dive System and Lifeboat periodic or installation testing, with our Technical Department able to provide guidance in relation to test procedures and method statements.
We also have expertise and experience with subsea equipment and can perform any test requirements you may have.
All colour coding both onshore and offshore is performed using Water
Based Paint, vastly reducing our use of Hazardous Materials across all sites.
