ATR SECURES LONG-TERM WOOD GROUP PSN CONTRACT

ATR Group has entered into a multi-million pound contract that will see the global equipment and services provider take on the full management of portable plant and equipment across all of Wood Group PSN’s (WGPSN) North Sea operations.

The three-year contract, worth in excess of £12 million per year with the option to extend, is a significant win for the ATR Group and comes after 18 months of sustained growth across the Aberdeen-headquartered group.

It will see lifting, tooling and portable plant and equipment provided for all WGPSN projects in the North Sea.

The win is the latest in a string of recent contract wins for ATR. The company plans to invest further into its core activities in response to their clients increasing request for additional equipment and services, whilst driving towards their £100million turnover target in the next three years.

ATR chief executive, Keith Moorhouse, said:

“This is a significant contract which will be serviced from our Aberdeen base and further develops our relationship with this hugely important client.

“As part of this contract, we will be providing services for assets including specialist lifting equipment to ensure that WGPSN’s assets are fully certified, both on and offshore.

“In response to an industry wide shortage of key equipment, we will continue to invest in our UK operations to ensure we have both the resources to meet the requirements of this contract and to meet the ongoing rise in demand from throughout the buoyant North Sea region.”

WGPSN global supply chain manager, Cameron Marshall said: “We look forward to working with ATR to help standardise our equipment, maintain quality and find innovative solutions to enhance our business.”

ATR Group is the market leader in the rental of specialised lifting, tooling and portable power equipment for the on and offshore oil and gas subsea and maintenance markets. The Group operates throughout the North Sea and UKCS, Norway and the Caspian region, employing over 400 people with a turnover in excess of £60 million.
