INAUGURAL INNOVATION DAY HAILED A SUCCESS FOR ATR GROUP


ATR Group - the global plant, lifting and tool rental specialist - has hailed its inaugural ‘Innovation Day’ a success. The event, which took place at the group’s Aberdeen headquarters, showcased the latest technologies for the offshore oil and gas industry and saw over 100 people attend including major industry clients and suppliers.

The latest technologies showcased included a spark-free, cold-cutting and grinding solution - from Safety Tools Allmet - which does requires no hot work permits, a lightweight piece of kit the size of a pager - from HAVmeter - which can be calibrated and automatically record specific individuals’ HAVs exposure and a new safety at height product range in conjunction with Ridgegear.

Mike Salter, Chairman of ATR Group, says, “ATR is home to some of the most innovative products on the market which sets it apart from its competitors. By delivering real innovation it distinguishes us in the market place and will help build for the future.”

Keith Moorhouse, Managing Director of ATR Group, says, “We had extremely encouraging feedback from the event.
